A seat is the term we use to refer to the bookable capacity of your workplace, anything you want a team member to be able to book individually counts as a seat.
Some (non-exhaustive) examples are a seat at a desk, a standing desk without a seat, a seat in a meeting room, or a car parking space.
Ground floor
Top left on the ground floor is the breakout room, it has 4 seats.
To the right is the main ground floor office which contains 16 seats.
The kitchen doesn't need to be booked so counts as zero seats.
Outside is a car park with 4 spaces for staff and 2 spaces for visitors, staff are required to book a car parking space as the car park can't support all staff driving to the office. Staff can't book the visitor spaces so the car park counts as 4 seats.
First floor
Top left on the first floor is the meeting room, it has 10 seats.
To the right is the main first floor office which contains 20 seats.
Office 1 and 2 each belong to a director, they don't require a booking so count as zero seats.
Total capacity
This gives a total of 54 seats which would cost $121.50/month with Hot Desk.
The two main offices have a capacity of 36, this office could serve around 72 monthly active users working from the office 2 days per week. There is no charge for a user with Hot Desk, the price for this office would be the same if there was 50 or 100 monthly active users.
