Booking cancellation notification

Receive a notification to one or more channels when someone cancels a booking. You can specify which space you want the notification for as well as a timeframe for when the cancellation occurs

Step 1: Select a channel you want to receive a reminder in and open it in Slack. (Only required if sending the notification to a channel) In this example we're going to use the "general" channel.

Step 2: Invite the Hot Desk bot to the channel. (Only required if sending the notification to a channel) Use the "/invite" slash command to add Hot Desk to the channel.

Step 3: Hot Desk can now send messages to the channel. (Only required if sending the notification to a channel) You should see a message in the channel confirming Hot Desk has been added.

Step 4: Open the Hot Desk app in Slack and click "notifications".

Step 5: Click "Create notification".

Step 6: Click "booking cancellation"

Step 7: Select the channels you added Hot Desk to, the spaces you want to get notified about (leave spaces empty to get notified about all spaces), and optionally set a time limit to only get notified about last-minute cancellations. Once complete click "Create".

Done! You will now receive notifications in the channels you selected.
